Total
Credit Management Services Hong Kong Limited (TCM Hong Kong) was
incorporated, planned by the founders Neil A. Wood and Benedict Wong
who were committed to provide professional international credit
management services in the market.
September
1993
Total
Credit Management Group joint-ventured with Shandong Foreign Trade
& Economic Financial Service Company (affiliated to Shandong
Foreign Trade & Economic Co-operation Office, a government body)
to establish “Shangdong Total Commercial Credit Management Co.
Ltd., which is one of the earliest credit reporting, investigation
and receivable management services provider in China.
December
1993 – March 1994

sub-operation offices of Total Credit Management Group opened in
China. They are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Dalin, Guangzhou and
Shenzhen.
August
1994
Total
Credit Management Hong Kong became one of the only two provisional
book-debt collectors of the Official Receiver’s Office (ORO), a
government body of Hong Kong.

1998
Total
Credit Management Services Lanka (PVT) Limited established in Sri
Lanka.

Total
Credit Management Hong Kong achieved Y2K compliance.

The
Director & CEO of Total Credit Management Hong Kong Benedict
Wong was re-elected as the Asia Pacific Director of the American
Collector Association (presently known as ACA International).
December
1999
Total
Credit Management Hong Kong joined the Hong Kong Credit and
Collection Management Association as a founding member.

2000
The
Director & CEO of Total Credit Management Hong Kong Benedict
Wong was awarded the “International Paul Bunyan” which is
American Collectors Association (ACA)’s highest international
honor. The award is to recognize the individual who, during the past
year, has been judged to have the greatest contribution made to the
association and the credit and collection industry outside of the
United States.

2001
Global
Credit Solutions (GCS) group set up its headquarter office in
Victoria, Australia. The genesis of GCS was originated in Australia
in 1976, when our group chairman Neil Wood commenced his
international operations. Today GCS is recognized by the
International business community as experts in the fields of credit
management, debt collection, credit reporting and risk management
services. Total Credit Management Hong Kong joined GCS group as one
of the founding members.

2001
The
Director & CEO of Total Credit Management Hong Kong Benedict
Wong was certified as a Master Credit Executive (MCE), the most
prestigious certification offered by the Society of Certified Credit
Executives (now known as Society of Certified Credit &
Collection Professionals “SCCCP”). The MCE designation is
reserved for those credit professionals who have demonstrated
extraordinary professionalism, leadership capabilities and made
substantial contributions to the credit industry at the national or
international level.

Andrew
Kwok, the International Business Development Director of Total
Credit Management Hong Kong, was certified as CCAE, the third level
certification program offered by the Society of Certified Credit
& Collection Professionals (SCCCP), which was affiliated to
American Collection Association (presently known as ACA
International).

The
Director & CEO of Total Credit Management Hong Kong Benedict
Wong was awarded the “ACA International Member of the Year”
which again, is American Collectors Association (ACA)’s highest
honor.
March
2003
Asiagate
held its first Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 19 March
2003. Total Credit Management Hong Kong attended the conference
became one of its founding members.
October
2003
Total
Credit Management Hong Kong launched its phase-1 real-time services
on 28th October 2003. The service includes Asiagate Reports, Total Court Debt Search
and Total Auto Alarm. Asiagate reports provide
1-day delivery for Asian company credit reports, which covered
CHINA, HONG KONG, MALAYSIA, THAILAND, TAIWAN and AUSTRALIA. Total Court Debt Search
is a service provides unlimited search of civil
court writ on the Internet. Total Auto Alarm is an ideal tool to
auto-alert court and delinquent cases to users on their important
customers.
November
2003
Asiagate’s
second conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 6 Nov 2003. Total
Credit Management Hong Kong joined its collaboration in developing
the XML technical specification.
May
2004
Total
Credit Management Hong Kong launched its phase-2 real-time service.
The services include an “Instant” view of database report on the
Internet. It becomes one of the most popular and comprehensive
web-store for credit Information & receivable management
products in the market. Coming new products include Company Credit
Risk Score Report (TCCRSR), Trade Risk Score & Property Report (TTRSRR)
and Trade & Property Report (TTPR).

2004
The
third Asiagate Conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan on 22 Jul 2004.
Besides Total Credit Management Hong Kong, seven more countries’
delegates attended the conference, which include Korea, Malaysia,
New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
March
2005
Total
Credit Management Hong Kong hosted the fourth Asiagate Conference in
Hong Kong on 8 Mar 2005. Its members increased to nine and include
Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand,
Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
April
2006
Asiagate
held its fifth conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 24 April
2006. Together with Total Credit Management Hong Kong, now it has 11
members, which include Australia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia,
New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
