Benedict

Managing
Director
& CEO
Mr. Wong is the Managing Director & CEO of
Total Credit Management Services Hong Kong Limited. He founded the company jointly with Mr. Neil Wood in 1987, after having been involved as a Sales & Marketing Manager with one of Hong Kong's largest credit reporting and collection companies.
For the past 26 years of dedication to the credit & collection profession and industry as a whole, he has written various articles and industry newsletters for the local and international media. He has also given many seminars in Asia, as well as in the USA during the past 20 years on mainly credit and collection topics, which cover not only Hong Kong and the Mainland China regions but also on the international arena. |

In 1993, he founded Total Credit Management Services (China) Ltd (widely known as “TCM China”) where he is holding the post of Managing Director. He also co-founded Total Credit Management Services (Sri-Lanka) Ltd in 1998.
Ben is currently serving as GCS Group’s Regional Director - Greater China. He served as ACA International Asia-Pacific Director from 1999 to 2001 and held the post of Chairman between 2001-2003. |

As one of the founders of the Hong Kong Credit & Collection Management Association (HKCCMA), he was elected as the first Chairman of the association in January 2000. The association was founded on 15th December 1999 and its mission is to bring the collection industry in Hong Kong into a new era of professionalism, working with government, business and the community at large, so as to establish the highest standards and work practice. He served as the association’s Chairman from 2002 - 2010 and is also a Fellow Member. He is also an Active Member of the “World Investigators Network”.
In July 2000, he was awarded the “International Paul Bunyan” which is ACA’s highest international honour. This award is designed to recognize the individual who, during the past year, has been judged to having made the greatest contribution to the association and the credit and collection industry outside of the USA. In July 2002, Ben was again awarded the “ACA International Member of the Year” (renamed from “International Paul Bunyan”).
In June 2001, he was certified as a Master Credit Executive, the most prestigious certification offered by the Society of Certified Credit Executives (now known as Society of Certified Credit & Collection Professionals (SCCCP). The MCE designation is reserved exclusively for credit professionals who have demonstrated extraordinary professionalism, leadership capabilities and made substantial contributions to the credit industry at national or international level and is only available by invitation.
