in his 40’s, is the founder, Managing Director & CEO of Total
Credit Management Services Hong Kong Limited (“Total
Credit Hong Kong”)
and Total Credit Management Services (China) Limited.
He
founded Total Credit Hong Kong in 1989 after having been
involved as a Sales & Marketing Manager with one of the
Hong Kong's largest companies in the credit reporting and
collection industries.
In less than two years he became an equal shareholder and
Managing Director & CEO of
Total Credit Hong Kong, and through his dedication and application has been responsible for building the company into one of the Hong Kong's industry
leaders and a leader in Real-time business & credit information. |

over 23 years of dedication to the credit & collection profession and industry as a whole, Benedict has written many articles for local and international media and industry newsletters. He has also given many seminars in China, Asia as well as in USA and Europe in the past
20 years mainly featuring credit and collection topics, which cover not only the Hong Kong and Mainland China regions, but also
the international arena. |

In July 1999, Ben was elected as the American Collector Association (now known as ACA International or widely known as ACA) Asia Pacific Director and had served this capacity from 1999 to 2003. Ben was also the Chairman of the International Unit of ACA International from 2000-2003. He is currently the GCS Group
Regional Director. In 1993, Benedict founded Total Credit Management Services (China) Limited
where he is currently the Managing Director. He is also a founder of Total Credit Management Services (Sri-Lanka) Limited in 1998 and is currently
as Executive Director.
As one of the founders of The Hong Kong Credit & Collection Management Association ("HKCCMA"), Benedict was elected as the first Chairman of HKCCMA in January 2000. The association was founded on 15th December 1999 and its primary mission is to bring the collection industry in Hong Kong into a new era of professionalism, working with government, business and the community at large so as to establish the highest standards and work practice. Ben has been serving as the Chairman of HKCCMA since its
formation and is also a Fellow Member (FCCMA).
In July 2000, Benedict was awarded the “International Paul Bunyan” which is ACA’s highest international honour. This award is to recognize the individual who, during the past year, has been judged to have the greatest contribution made to the association and the credit and collection industry outside of the United States. In July 2002, Ben was further awarded the “ACA International Member of the Year” which again, is ACA’s highest international honour.
In June 2001, Benedict Wong was certified as a Master Credit Executive (MCE), the most prestigious certification offered by the Society of Certified Credit Executives (now known as Society of Certified Credit & Collection Professionals (SCCCP)). The MCE designation is reserved for those credit professionals who have demonstrated extraordinary professionalism, leadership capabilities and made substantial contributions to the credit industry at the national or international level.
